Personal trainer Craig has played and been involved in sport from a very early age having played football to county level as a junior and as a senior moving onto rugby league with Jarrow and rugby union for Gateshead RFC and Westoe RFC, winning numerous league and cup titles including appearing at Twickenham in the 2005 Powergen Cup Final, and gaining representative honours with Durham County
Following an ACL reconstruction in 2008, Craig took up cycling completing a number of personal goals including the infamous Fred Whitton Challenge. Subsequently, Craig took up competitive road cycling and raced for Sunderland Clarion for 5 years in numerous disciplines from Criterium racing, road racing, hill climbs and time trials.
Craig has been always been very active in the gym personally focusing on strength and conditioning, muscle building and weight management as well as sports specific training.
He also delivers the health and wellbeing programme for a large global engineering company which includes programmes dealing and advising on both mental and physical health.
