Dispelling many common myths around strength training with young athletes you will be shown how to screen, instruct and coach fundamental movements. The workshop is not only relevant to youngsters who play sport, but more widely in the development of ‘physical literacy’ including
- How to run, jump and throw properly
- Basic movement competency and controlling bodyweight
- How and when to integrate strength training
- How to reduce the risk of injury
