Through practical and theory sessions you will be taken through the rationale, technical models and underpinning science of strength and conditioning.
- Structuring and delivering warm ups
- Acceleration and deceleration/running technique
- Explosive Training
- 'Olympic Weightlifting' including snatch, clean and jerk
The day is practical in nature and the hope is you ‘learn by doing’. However, you can participate as much or as little as you like. Using a range of training environments and methods you will develop your own techniques, coaching cues and understanding of developing athletic ability.
