Why did you start training?

My weight and fitness problem became so severe that I was having trouble walking and day-to- day mobility was increasingly difficult. After a visit to my GP I was warned that, unless I lost some weight, I would probably be in a wheelchair by the age of 50 and would be lucky to reach the age of 60.

This was the shock that I needed and I decided immediately to do something drastic. By chance I was meeting David that week and after speaking to him, he promised that he could help me lose weight and regain my fitness levels.

What are the benefits of training?

I have been a member of many gyms over the years but my lack of motivation and guidance has always let me down. Training with David has allowed me to focus on specific areas of fitness and health that would work best for me. After just a few months of training all the benefits were obvious. My energy levels were up, which allowed me to be more productive at work, yet still left me with energy to spare in the evenings to spend time with my children. I found that I was sleeping much better with the consequence of feeling refreshed in the morning. By eating the right types of food, combined with the training, meant that on a day-to-day basis I felt much brighter during the day, the times of feeling sluggish and tired all day have gone. Rather than exercise being a chore, it is now an enjoyable way to relax.

One phrase to sum up training?

Life-changing.
