Why did you start distance running training?
I wanted to run both the Great North Run and London Marathon and felt I needed a fitness routine and motivation to train on a regular basis.
What benefits has the distance running training given you?
I now maintain a good level of fitness, enjoying exercise and in particular running distances.
One phrase that sums up the distance running training?
A disciplined approach to diet and fitness whilst being able to enjoy myself.

Janes dedication and discipline with the tough training schedules has meant she sailed through 2 Great North Runs and the London Marathon which are both hard distance runs.
